Parkday ("we", "us", or "our") is a Disney World trip planning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Parkday mobile app and website, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

By using Parkday you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

Trip and itinerary data

• Trip names, travel dates, party size, and children's ages you enter when building a trip
• Park assignments, daily schedules, and itinerary notes you create
• Favorite rides, dining preferences, and travel details (flights, resort bookings) you add voluntarily
• Saved recommendations and notes from AI planning sessions

Chat and AI conversation data

• Messages you send to the AI planning assistant
• Responses generated by the AI on your behalf

Support submissions

• Name, email address, and the message you write when contacting support through the Help & Support screen

Device and usage information

• Device type and operating system (iOS), collected automatically by our infrastructure
• Basic usage patterns such as which screens are visited, used to improve app performance

We do not collect your real name, government ID, payment card details, or precise GPS location. We do not access your contacts, photos, or camera unless you explicitly initiate those actions.

How We Use Your Information

• To save and display your trips, itineraries, and recommendations across sessions
• To power the AI trip planning assistant by sending your messages to OpenAI's API and returning responses
• To process and respond to support requests you submit
• To improve the reliability and performance of the app
• To generate and validate trip sharing invite codes

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with marketing companies.

Third-Party Services

OpenAI

When you use the AI planning chat, your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate responses. OpenAI processes these messages on their servers. Your conversations are subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not share any identifying information about you with OpenAI beyond the content of your planning messages.

RevenueCat

Purchases of Parkday Premium are managed through RevenueCat, which interfaces with the Apple App Store on your device. RevenueCat receives anonymised purchase and entitlement status information to confirm your premium access. No payment card details pass through Parkday or RevenueCat — all payment processing is handled directly by Apple. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more.

Apple App Store

Your app installation, purchase history, and device identifiers are handled by Apple under their privacy policy. Parkday does not have access to your App Store account details.

Data Retention

Your trip data, itineraries, and conversation history are stored in our database for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete a trip or conversation within the app, it is removed from our systems. If you wish to have all of your data deleted, please contact us at the address below and we will process your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Parkday is a trip planning tool designed for adults and families. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.

You may also delete trips and conversations directly within the app at any time without contacting us.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we store. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Parkday after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
